Here are some pictures of bracelets I made a couple of years back using the flat spiral stitch. (You can google "flat spiral stitch bracelets" for tutorials. I am partial to a video tutorial done by Aunties Beads on You Tube, although I actually learned the stitch from a bracelet kit purchased on Artbeads.)
As you can see, there's a lot of variety... you can change up the sizes of the center beads, seed beads counts on the sides, or even hand stitch additional beads to embellish the bracelet. This technique is pretty simple, although it does take some time to figure out the correct bead count when you change up the bead sizes. Once you get going, it's a fairly simple process.
There's a great deal of variety in these bracelets... so far, because of the highly geometric pattern, I've only made these using man made components... if you search Flat Spiral on Etsy, you'll find much of the same...
Do you find yourself going back to old techniques with new angles every once in a while? Or do you pretty much know what you like to use and focus on precision instead?
