I'm so grateful for a break in the weather... and a spare moment to take advantage of the natural lighting conditions! Honestly, nothing beats natural light when taking photos of jewelry. Everything else just ends up distorting the color. And because color is so important when selling jewelry online, I don't mess with the photos except cropping and straightening. I could think of nothing worse than someone deliberately manipulating a photo to the extent where it no longer accurately reflected the actual creation.Anyway, I hope these photos are a little better than the ones I posted earlier this week. With some work, maybe I'll get some new things listed on Etsy. It's just so hard to keep up these days, now that I have a speedy baby!
