Most of the jewelry photos I take are on a spot next to the carport, where a piece of slate is balanced on an old cement block column. Don't ask me what that column is for, I assume at some point there was probably a fence or something there, but it serves no purpose now. Anyway, on a whim, I decided to try hanging a pair of earrings from the cement block instead of placing them flat on the slate. What do you think?

A Blurb About Me

Life is hectic. As you can read, in addition to designing jewelry, I'm a mom, a (Navy) wife, Naval Reservist, businesswoman, amateur shutterbug, and I like to bake. :)

I also like to write, hence the blog (and it's lack of focus on jewelry.) Here, you'll find bits and pieces of what it's like to be a mom, a (Navy) wife, Naval Reservist, businesswoman, amateur shutterbug, and maybe some of the yummy things I make around here.

As for the jewelry, my creations rely on a variety of mixed media and techniques ranging from traditional Japanese arts, silversmithing, and plain old trial and error to produce beach inspired artisan jewelry. All designs are original and produced as one of a kind or as part of very limited edition runs. You can see them below or visit my Etsy store.
