When I was a little kid, Mom had a strawberry patch in our front yard. One summer, when I was about 7, my parents took us to Disneyland. We ate a box of the biggest, juiciest strawberries, until we felt like we couldn't stand to look at another strawberry! It was awesome! I tell you, there is NOTHING like fresh fruit. Oh my goodness, the produce we got when I was in the Navy had no taste, when compared to the fresh fruits and veggies I got as a child. Only problem is that I have a black thumb. Anytime my fiancee sees me planting something, he calls it a "plant funeral."
Ok, so I can't grow the real thing. Luckily, there are farmers around here! ;)
