Pineapple Treasury

I love pineapples. Not the cooked ones on pizza (by the way, I don't know of anyone from Hawaii who actually likes "Hawaiian" pizza), but fresh, sun ripened, chilled pineapple... slurp!

Guess I'm not the only one- someone made a lovely Etsy Treasury of pineapples:

Coincidentally, I just lowered the price on my pineapple stitch markers, as part of my New Year's resolution to clean out the things which have been sitting in my stash.  I actually made up a set of these as a request for a friend, and this is a duplicate set.

My mom taught me to salt my pineapple to make it taste sweeter. She also likes to eat dehydrated pineapple with her coffee. I really like pineapple Dole Whip. How do you like to eat pineapple?

Fresh pineapple is the best, but our first time in Hawaii we had grilled pineapple on our hamburgers (probably only served to tourists). Yum! I love those stitch markers!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pineapple on hamburger... I'll admit, I've never tried it. My favorite burger place on Oahu is Kua'aina, which makes a yummy bacon avocado burger... MMmmmmm...
